Recipe: Rasperry Acai Bowl Breakfast Bowl
I was first introduced to açai when I lived in Rio de Janeiro back in 2010. This deliciously nutritious way to start your day quickly became my all-time favorite breakfast. These days I rarely buy açai bowls out as they are ridiculously priced, so I've started making them at home and it saves me a fortune! Plus I know exactly what's in there.
I like to mix up my recipe depending on what I have available - and what I'm in the mood for. This morning I made on mixed with rasperries and banana, so yummy (and nutritious)!
Rasperry Acai Breakfast Bowl
To blend:
- 1 frozen açai smoothie packet (I get mine at Trader Joe's)
- Fresh Rasperries
- 1/2 banana
- Coconut milk (you can supplement with almond/hemp milk)
- Cashew Butter
- Chia Seeds
Toppings:
- Rasperries
- Goji Berries
- Banana slices
- Chia Seeds
- Hemp Seeds
- Almonds
- Cacao Superfood Granola from Whole Foods
